The service is above and beyond. Not only did they come last minute but they showed me the problem and how to repair it in the future. On time and much better price then I was quoted at other businesses.

Drainage Pro has been great to work with throughout our perimeter drainage project. Dean has been professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing perimeter drainage or waterproofing work done.

Patterns

What people mention most

The same four things come up again and again, and none of them are about drainage engineering. They are about how the job was run.

  • Someone answers, and quickly

More reviews mention the speed of the first callback than mention the repair itself. Several describe last-minute visits and a quick response to a request for service. That is not an accident of scheduling: drainage problems arrive with the weather, usually at night and usually in November, and a company that takes three days to phone back is no use to anyone watching water come across a basement floor. Calls and texts reach us directly rather than through a call centre.

  • Being shown the problem

One review describes being shown the fault and how to deal with it in future, which is what the camera is for. Homeowners are being asked to spend a lot of money on something they cannot see, buried at footing depth, on the word of a stranger. Putting the monitor in front of you changes that conversation completely. You keep the footage and the written findings whether or not we do the repair, and you are welcome to take both to another contractor for a second price.

  • The price holds, and it is fair

Fair pricing turns up in several reviews, including one from a customer who had been quoted more elsewhere. We price off a diagnosis rather than off a worst case, which is usually why the number is lower, and the scope is in writing before anything starts. Where a job has a genuine unknown we say so, put a limit on it, and get any change approved by you before we act on it.

  • Doing what we said we would do

Arriving on the day, at the time, and finishing what was started. Two reviews mention projects carried from the first visit through to the end, which in drainage work means the excavation, the pipe, the waterproofing, the concrete and the ground going back. It is a low bar and it is the one most often missed, because that work usually crosses three trades. It does not cross any here.

Your turn

How we ask for reviews

If something was not right, tell us before you tell Google. Call or text (604) 210-3892 and we will come back out.

Leave a Google review

  • We ask once, in person, when the job is finished and the ground is back.
  • There is no automated sequence of emails, no follow-up texts, and nothing offered in exchange for a rating.
  • If we did not earn one, we would rather you kept it.

Work we did wrong is covered by our workmanship warranty of up to 10 years, in writing, and the fastest route to fixing it is a phone call to the crew who did it.

We find the cause before we quote the fix

Tell us the address and what you're seeing — a backup, a wet wall, a smell, a sinking lawn. We'll tell you what the next step is and what it costs, before anyone digs. Not sure yet? Ask us a question first.
